1.1 EU General Data Protection Regulation (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR") are EU's legislation on the processing of Personal Data for the purpose of protecting Personal Data.

4. Legal basis for the processing of Personal Data
We will process collected Personal Data only if one or more of the following legal basis apply according to the purpose of use.

For the provision of our online offer, we use storage space, computing capacity and software that we rent or otherwise obtain from a corresponding server provider (also called ‘web host’); legal basis: Legitimate interest
- Collection of access data and log files:
Access to our online offering is recorded in the form of so-called ‘server log files’. The server log files may include the address and name of the websites and files accessed, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page) and, as a rule, IP addresses and the requesting provider. The server log files can be used for security purposes, e.g. to avoid overloading the servers (especially in the event of abusive attacks, so-called DDoS attacks), and to ensure the utilisation of the servers and their stability; legal basis: Legitimate interests (Deletion of data: Log file information is stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted or anonymised. Data whose further storage is required for evidentiary purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

We may need to share Personal Data with the following third parties for the purposes of the processing described in 5 above. We will comply with applicable privacy laws when it is necessary to provide and share Personal Data.

7. Data Subject's rights
7.1 In applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, the Data Subject has the following rights: These rights may be exercised at any time by contacting the contact information listed in 12. However, these rights may be restricted, for example, in cases where responding to the requests of Data Subject would harm the Personal Data of others, or in cases where the legal requirement for deletion of Personal Data is required to be preserved.

9. Transfers of Personal Data to third countries or international organisations

In addition, the above Personal Data may be processed by our or service provider staff operating outside the country/territory where the Data Subject resides. 9.3 The transfer of Personal Data to a third country other than Japan and EU (excluding countries and regions that have obtained adequacy decision) shall be transferred by concluding the Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Retention period of Personal Data
We will retain Personal Data for a period of time reasonably necessary for each purpose set forth in this Privacy Policy. After the end of the above period, we will delete or anonymize Personal Data.
11.Amendment of Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy was revised on 11.11.2024. We may change this Privacy Policy in accordance with laws and regulations or in accordance with our policies. However, we will not use the Personal Data of the Data Subject in a new way without obtaining consent.
