Toshiba Logistics Europe GmbH operates an open customs warehouse in Weiterstadt/Germany specialising in semiconductor products and components. As a logistics service provider, it handles the import and export, warehousing and dispatch of these products for customers in the automotive sector and other major clients. Another area of the business focuses on developing supply chain solutions. To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking a committed:
Forwarding and Logistics Sales Specialist and PMO with knowledge of Japanese (m/f/d)
Main responsibilities:
•Obtaining quotations from our partners and preparing our quotations for customers
•Assisting with the acquisition of new customers based on references, services and the company’s negotiation proposals
•Ensuring smooth day-to-day communication with clients and suppliers in accordance with internal company guidelines
•Attending trade fairs and events, and maintaining the network
•Managing deliveries from booking through to invoicing
•Organising international and domestic transport by road, air and sea
•Processing of shipping documents, customs/T1 documents and accompanying
documents for global courier and air freight shipments, such as export
declarations and movement certificates
•Handling customer complaints and settling claims
Job Profile:
•Experience in customer service within the logistics sector (at least 1 year)
•Experience as a logistics sales assistant would be an advantage
•Excellent communication skills, a friendly manner and the ability to persuade
•An analytical, sales-oriented mindset and a customer-focused approach
•Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
•Fluency in spoken and written German and English; knowledge of Japanese would be an advantage

Job Description:
Processing incoming and outgoing goods and posting in the WM system. Picking goods according to customer orders; Labelling and packing according to customer specifications; Loading and stowing shipments in means of transport based on the accompanying documents; Carrying out warehouse bookings in the WM system; Compliance with our customers' quality requirements; Warehousing and stock control.
Requirements:
Qualification as a warehouse specialist, warehouse logistics specialist or comparable professional experience would be an advantage. Professional experience in warehouse logistics in an industrial or commercial company. Forklift licence.
Basic technical understanding. Fluent written and spoken German. Experience in dealing with WM systems.
